  1. Different codes that are not classed as "jobs"

    Able to set codes that can be used generically without creating a job. For example...

    Travel
    Lunch
    Admin
    Interviews
    Office etc

  2. Ability to add PDF files to Knowledge

    We have a large data base of schematics, manuals and service bulletins in PDF form. We would love to be able to import them into the new Knowledge section.

  3. Add the ability to add and create tags to Jobs, Staff and Clients.

    Hi ServiceM8 can you please implement tags into the system. On Jobs, Staff and Clients that have an api ability to fire when added and removed.
    Also link those functions to Zapier.
    Examples this would help with.
    - Can be used in reporting functions. eg where Jobs have two service types.
    - If i tags were on Staff I could make an integration that filters staff members when licenses expire or renew.
    - Customer Tags could be used to make better integrations with Zapier based on tags being removed or added.
    - I could filter clients who are under contract…

  5. Merge Jobs

    With multiple admin, occasionally get a job that has been added to the system twice. Although we can delete one, sometimes one job has the quote and emails to the customer and the other job has the invoice and pictures so there is useful information in both. If we merge the jobs and everything remains in date order and the job description would be in perfect working order.

  6. Manually add and edit assets

    We have to be able to add and edit asset information without needing to scan a QR code to call up an asset or create an asset record.

    There are so many clients using devices such as iPhone 5 series on iOs 10 that don't have the ability to scan a QR code.

  7. Adding multiple emails to a customer, ie E1@gmail.com,E2@gmail.com etc

    Allowing multiple emails to be given to one user would allow job cards and invoices to go to multiple people in the same organisation, meaning that it cannot be missed, so the job card and invoice could go to, manager, accounts and who ever else they might want it sending to

  8. Ability to have multiple clients with the same name.

    I can't believe that ServiceM8 does not have the ability to save clients with the same name. The only solution they have is to add extra characters to the name to make it unique. Surely that is a standard feature that should be available.

  9. Dispatch Map Functionality

    11/30/2018 - This latest update to the Dispatch Map has significantly affected the way we schedule our jobs.

    Previously, we could filter to Unscheduled Jobs then choose a day and a technician (using the little people icons at the top) to 'layer' the tech's day on top of the Unscheduled Jobs. This may it very convenient, quick and easy to fill in any gaps the tech had in their day.

    Now, there is NO way to select more than one Filter. When you choose Unscheduled jobs, it's all the Unscheduled Jobs. When you choose a tech's schedule, it's just that…

  10. Automatically schedule a job when "start job" button is pressed using the app.

    When using the app and checking into a job using the Start Job button, serviceM8 should automatically schedule this job on the Dispatch Board under the applicable staff schedule.

    I like that we can force push and see inventory, it would be nice to see which vehicle has some of the inventory.

  12. compliance register

    Add a compliance reigster which holds all insurances for business, staff qualification with expiry dates and then notifications can be made for employer to renewing items. Need to be able to
    1. have somewhere were everyone's qualifications are at hand for field staff to show contractors
    2. ability to identify when compliance tickets, insurances are needing to renew.
    check out https://www.conserve.com.au/ this is what most councils use for contractors to be compliant.

  13. Edit clock on/clock off data

    We should be able to edit our employee's clock in/clock out data.
    Its bad enough that employees will forget to clock our for 2 days,
    then all the data from those 2 days cannot be edited for future use.

  14. Stop SM8 from auto-filling addresses

    Have an opt-out option for the auto-filling of addresses. SM8's system is auto-filling addresses wrong and it is costing us time having to go along behind and correct them. Make a way that we can turn this off from happening.

  15. Add a field for the name of the person signing off on the work order.

    You only have the option of a customer to sign their name. Sometimes the signatory is not the job contact and their signature is not legible. A field allowing the input of the person name would be helpful in deciphering the signature and identifying the person.

  16. Display job address in calendar view

    Display job address in calendar view (currently can only see job name and with many jobs for 1 builder calendar view is useless)
    or at least change in the staff view to display the street number and address not the suburb. Thank you all for your votes :D

  17. Ability to highlight/colour code a line

    On large jobs that go over long periods, I would find it useful for recording & housekeeping purposes if I had the ability to colour code some of the lines in the invoicing and quotes tab.
    If I could colour code some of the lines I could effectively catagorise items.

  18. SMS Reminders & Time Zones

    It would be very helpful if different time zones could be taken into account when sending the automated SMS reminders. We work nationwide and have had issues with text messages being sent to the west coast before business hours.

  19. Make Full Job Address Visible on Dispatch Board as appose to only showing the suburb

    We have many jobs that are located in the same suburbs therefore it is very time consuming for all users to have to open each job to find the full job address and we cannot go by the automatic job numbers generated by servicem8..It would be much more beneficial if the full address could be shown when overlooking all jobs on Dispatch Board and in the Job History. We have been using the job suffix/prefix to enter full addresses before creating new jobs, but have since been advised that this feature has been removed recently.

  20. 24h job scheduling

    The ability to schedule jobs for any time not just between 7am to 7 pm,

    *We have jobs that start late and run into the evening or a night shift.
